The StandOut Photography Studio is located in downtown Lethbridge – within minutes of beautiful parks, some seriously gorgeous brick walls, and of course, our favourite local coffee shop! We’re a team of three and we love nothing more than to capture tiny slices of your life, that will bring you back for years to come.
Jackie Standing (MPA), Owner & Photographer
Jackie is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Her ability to put people at ease is truly exceptional… and comes in super handy when you’re in front of the camera! She has been photographing weddings and family milestones professionally for over a decade for clients in all stages of life. Jackie is creative to her core and loves to try new things, which means she’s constantly learning, growing, and refining her craft. When she’s not behind a camera, she loves to travel, experience life with new adventures and her favourite people.
Jackie is the owner and primary photographer of StandOut Photography. She holds her Master of Photographic Arts designation and is an accredited member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). She has completed her accreditation in 6 different Portrait Categories and the recipient of the 2021 Alberta Portrait Photographer of the Year. Courtney, Associate Photographer & Editor
Born & raised in Lethbridge, Courtney has been an active volunteer member in our community for years. She has a background in art history and museum studies and holds a BA in Fine Arts. She’s excellent with kids and is instantly loved by all of our little clients. She’s got a great eye for art, has a passion for her craft, and dedicated to delivering quality products and services with attention to the details.
Rebecca, Operations Manager, Associate Photographer & Editor
Rebecca has been with the studio since 2013, joining us after she moved from Medicine Hat to Lethbridge to attend the University of Lethbridge. She enjoys all things creative – music, art, photography & videography. After completing her Master’s degree this year, she is back at the studio full-time continuing her role as Associate Photographer/Editor, and is now the new Operations Manager of the studio.
