Jason & Darcie- Lethbridge Wedding Photographer

Jason & Darcie picked the perfect date to capture the best of Lethbridge Fall colors!  The wind hadn’t had a chance to steal all of the leaves away and the sun was shining, bringing a beautiful golden hue to our backgrounds.  We started the day off with capturing everyone getting ready and a few images of the details and accessories.  The girls had the fabulous idea of wearing some comfortable shoes with a hint of glam- Converse shoes!   Darcie sprayed gold sparkles to add that extra bit of “fancy”, and the bridesmaid’s shoes were laced with burgundy ribbon- the perfect touch to bring out the colors of their dresses!

Their wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Coalhurst Community Centre with pops of gold & burgundy tying the decor together nicely with a Fall style.   As family & friends were brought together for this fun celebration, laughter was in the air.  The mood and feeling was nothing short of joy and happy celebration!

We loved their idea of having a box full of blank envelopes, with instructions to “address an envelope”.  Guests can add their addresses saving Jason & Darcie a ton of time when sending out thank you cards!  What a fabulous idea 🙂

Following the ceremony, we headed to Lethbridge to the Helen Schular Nature Centre in Indian Battle Park.   The colors were absolutely beautiful and and the bridal party had some good laughs!

The Lethbridge coulees are always a favourite of ours!  The textures and tones are a beautiful mix and Darcie’s flowers added the perfect pop of color.

 

We headed back to Coalhurst for the reception where everyone was ready to party!  From the fun wine bottles, to the unique cake topper to the candy bar- everything was geared towards a fun, casual environment.  The reception was buzzing with excitement, and as the night went on, our couple shared in their first dance as husband and wife and then shared in a dance with their parents.  There was a live band playing,  with music by the Chevelles and they did a fantastic job keeping the crowd dancing.

We were honoured to have been a part of Jason & Darcie’s special day- and truly wish them both the best in the years to come!  It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone- Cheers!
