We’ve reached out to a couple of our favourites to share some advice with you!

How do you ensure that you’re choosing the right planner for your wedding?

Events by Natalie Noel: You have to connect with their vibe. If you look at their previous work and their style speaks to you, they should deliver the quality that you’re looking for!

Insightfully Designed Events: It’s very important to sit down in person or have a good phone call to find out if you’re compatible! That might sound a bit odd, but you need to find someone that you like – their style, and what they offer. Make sure that they see your dream and work within that!

What are your current favourite trends in wedding design?

Events by Natalie Noel: Fresh greenery and geometrics! Every year the classics shift into a new look, but those two elements have morphed into “modern glam” and I love it.

Insightfully Designed Events: My favourites are kind of all over the place. I love to see the individuality and boldness that’s making its way into the wedding industry. I love seeing bold colours and patterns mixed with the really elegant and simple decorations. However, I’m also a sucker for the classics and I love to see them coming back!

If you could offer one piece of practical advice to couples about their wedding, what would it be?

Events by Natalie Noel: Have a Plan B for an outdoor ceremony! Grandma’s going to faint in the heat, and nobody wants to sit in the rain.

Insightfully Designed Events: Try not to stress too much about the tiny things. Not everything will go as planned, but the day will feel perfect no matter what. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help!
